Sucharita Beniwal is an Associate Senior Professor in Textile Design Discipline at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India. Presently, she is also heads the faculty of Inter-disciplinary Design Studies & Leads the Science and Liberal Arts programme. Her research draws from fieldwork with and on communities, histories of making; and lies at an intersection of social design and textile practices.
