I am an interdisciplinary researcher combining practical and theoretical experience in industrial design, landscape architecture and urban planning.
I graduated as an industrial designer at the University of Arts Berlin and I completed my PhD at the School of Architecture Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture at the University of Kassel.
The foundation of my research and teaching practice is based on a critical reflection on the role of designers and planners as part of society. I am especially interested in transformative design approaches that focus on resilience and sustainability.
As an Associate Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Art & Design of the University of the Arts Bremen, Germany, I am currently researching design practices and discourses related to sustainability in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
